Farmcart Mobile App

"Farmcart" was an academic project that required students to create a mobile app regarding farmers markets.

Farmcart is a local farmers market app that allows users to search markets in their area, browse fresh produce within the app and have their favorite produce delivered straight to their door. Farmcart is dedicated to making organic produce shopping easier than it has ever been.

In addition, Farmcart provides up to date information on local farmers markets as well as a large variety of recipes chosen specifically for the client based on their purchases.

Now we can shop produce faster and more efficiently.

Whiteside Theatre

"Whiteside Theatre" was an academic project that required students to collaborate as a group and solve a problem within the community through design. My group and I put our focus into the historic Corvallis theatre, Whiteside Theatre. This Historic building is an iconic part of the city of Corvallis, however, it lacks the marketing and awareness it deserves. We collaborated and came up with a solution that we felt would best lead this historic theatre to success.

The historic Whiteside Theatre is a Corvallis treasure and its style and personality have delighted patrons since opening in 1922. Although recognized by many, we hope to make Whiteside Theatre a place of interest to every single citizen in Corvallis, Oregon. These brand guidelines will help modernize the theatre's image while still cherishing the classic theatre feel. We have finalized a few deliverables to help reach our goal in modernizing the Theatre while bringing more awareness to it as well. Included is an updated logo, monthly scheduled poster, collectible movie poster, and collectible tickets.

Keep Portland Green

The purpose behind this project was to create a unique, type-driven message in reaction to a selected word - "Transport". There are three required deliverables in the creation of this project. A 2-dimensional type which is using flat letterforms, a 3-dimentional type meaning a composition that uses dimensional letterforms, and a time-based which is creating a gif or short animation using typography.

Using the word 'transport' I decided to create a campaign in promoting environmentally friendly transportation in the Portland area. The campaign slogan is based off of the well known phrase, "Keep Portland Weird" to get the attention of Portland locals.

2-dimentional: This piece brings awareness through a simple illustration that our cars are polluting the earth and it is time for a change.

3-dimesional: A magazine Ad that illustrates the harm of pollution and encourages alternative economic transportation such as biking.

Time-based: A quick animated video promoting the public transit system. This video is featured on a website created for this campaign. (See link below)

Chichaqua Exhibit

Collaborative Client Project:

Chichaqua's mission was to create a gateway to the wilderness for the population of Des Moines, IA and beyond, through learning, connecting, and understanding nature (place), history (time), and culture. Their slogan is Draw, Learn, Connect, Return. Our goal was to re-purpose three grain bins as exhibits that tell the story of man's relationship with the land, particularly through agriculture, using the them "Inhabiting the land".

We chose to do an 8ft by 65 ft decal that will wrap around the entire first floor. Included is a kiosk where we intend on incorporating an RFID system to help interact the audience with the exhibit itself. This is where a screen will be placed and our client will decide what kind of story they want to take for this section.

At the end of the exhibit we've incorporated some take home items for the audience such as a seed packet or a bag of coffee grounds to help encourage gardening in your own home.

TedX Campaign

"Feed or Fight" was an academic project that required students to choose three TEDX speakers and create a campaign based on their talks.

Feed or Fight is a TEDX event hosted by three speakers who discuss the risks of the American diet. A campaign of prints and a branding guideline were created in order to make this event a success. The branding for this event was created based on the idea of making the transition into a healthier lifestyle appear delightful.
